Join the YELI Ensemble for an hour of traditional dance from Guinea, West Africa. The djembefola Ibrahima Dioubate is joined by dancer-drummers Mohamed Cisse and Windship Boyd. All three will collaborate to teach you century-old dances that influenced the African diaspora and therefore all truly American dance forms such as jazz and tap.

The workshop will give participants an authentic and unforgettable experience where dance and music are truly one.
